Realisations of sports-climbing by Sardinians climbers- October 2000

Simone Sarti, from Cagliari, has been beating the reefs of the island far and wide for years: he recently devoted himself to the opening of the extreme routes which were very exacting and with more than one pitch. He also allowed himself the first free climbing of "Stella di Sangue" (Star of Blood) with Maurizio Oviglia at Bruncu Nieddu. That was a route Maurizio Oviglia had opened alone in the month of August. Simone has climbed on sight on every pitches, proposing a series of difficulty which is surely very little relaxing:6c, 7b+, 7b, 6c+, 7a, 7a+, 6b+ and 7a. Congratulations to Simone for that beautiful climbing!
